GEAUX TIGERS!

Alex and Oren went to the LSU v. Arkansas game this past friday. Though the outcome was not so good, the boys had a great time with Grandy.

Alex sat next to a crazy man that drooled dipping tobacco and he wasn't quite sure what to think of him.

Oren said that Alex kept asking if the game was over around the 3rd quarter and when Oren told him the game was going into over time, Alex said, "They're starting the game all over?"

Once they got in the car he told Laura that he was so cold he almost froze to death.

Even though it was cold, he sat next to a crazy man and LSU lost, it was a great first LSU game for Alex.

New Carpet!

We got new carpets in the bedrooms yesterday. We should be getting the wood laminate and the vinyl sometime soon. The wood laminate is acclimating to the environment right now...whatever that means. I'm just happy that the kids aren't living in rooms with concrete floors anymore!

The kids enjoyed laying on the carpet for a few minutes after Bethany got home from school.

The floor guy will come on Tuesday to start putting the floors in and then all we have to do is paint!

Work in Progress

Our kitchen is being remodeled! We are very excited and are anxious to see the final outcome of our kitchen. We think the cabinets should be complete next week and the floors should be done soon after that! Here are some Before and 'During' pictures of the work.

Happy Fall

Last night was our churches Fall Festival. We had approximately 1000 people walk through our gym in 2 hours. It was a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed themselves and when Alex got home he said, "That was awesome!" Here are a few pics from the night.
