Out of Pocket
January is a very busy time for our family. I am the director of our girls ministry at church and our annual Princess Retreat is January 19, 2008. This keeps me extremely busy and all of my focus is on the retreat until January 20! Check out our ministry blog to keep up with how things are going: www.lambdachigirl.blogspot.com
Also, Upward practices started the second week of January and games start the last weekend of the month. Oren is in charge of organizing all aspects of our Upward basketball and cheerleading league at FBC. In addition to that, Oren is coaching Alex's kindergarten basketball team and I am coaching a 1st and 2nd grade cheer squad. It is fun, but it keeps us busy! (To learn more about Upward go to www.upward.org )
We hope to be back and posting in February!

Almost Finished!
Before
After
The kitchen is getting closer and closer to being finished! Oren's parents came for the weekend and worked very hard to get our kitchen looking amazing. There are a few more things to do, like put on hardware, paint the walls and touch ups to cabinets, but it came very far in the past 2-3 days!
Thank you MawMaw & Paw Paw! We Love Ya'll!
(Check the blog tomorrow, we should have new floors!)

GEAUX TIGERS!
Alex and Oren went to the LSU v. Arkansas game this past friday. Though the outcome was not so good, the boys had a great time with Grandy.
Alex sat next to a crazy man that drooled dipping tobacco and he wasn't quite sure what to think of him.
Oren said that Alex kept asking if the game was over around the 3rd quarter and when Oren told him the game was going into over time, Alex said, "They're starting the game all over?"
Once they got in the car he told Laura that he was so cold he almost froze to death.
Even though it was cold, he sat next to a crazy man and LSU lost, it was a great first LSU game for Alex.
